Dirlantas Discussed City Traffic Control With Djarot

Previously, traffic control was discussed since several events or activities were ran in Jakarta

Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director (Dirlantas), Kombes Pol. Halim Parraga, met Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat at City Hall, Jl. Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Djarot said this meeting was also attended by Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah. City traffic control must be discussed since there are many infrastructure projects on progress.

"Previously, traffic control was discussed since several events or activities were ran in Jakarta. We anticipate it," he expressed, Thursday (7/20).

Besides, his side also asked police side directly to anticipate illegal street racing in several roads in Jakarta.

"Locations that prone to be used for illegal street racing are on Jl. Asia Afrika and Taman Mini," he said.

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya Dirlantas, Kombes Pol. Halim Parraga stated that his side will coordinate with Jakarta Dishub to carry out the task thus traffic flow could be controlled well.

"We will intensify our monitoring around construction sites, such as MRT and LRT. Besides, we will also control illegal street racing," he closed.
